May 27

Well, I had a week off, and while I did a thing or two, I didn’t get a chance to do anything here. There are some new pics in the “photos” section from a trip Holly and I took to Como Zoo. You can also see them (much larger) on my Flickr feed @ http://www.flickr.com/tvstimmyg

We also went to see the Guthrie’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. I remember seeing Joe Dowling’s production when I was in high school. Very nice to see it again. It was my first chance to see a production at the new Guthrie. Life can’t be too bad when you see something like that.

I’m back to work now and I’m not really diggin’ it. There’s gotta be something better on the horizon, right?

At least my home wasn’t destroyed by a tornado. I spent Sunday and Monday covering the storm damage. I feel so bad for the people who lost everything in the storms in Hugo. Unfortunately, I’ve seen WAY too much of this sort of thing after working in Kansas/Missouri. It’s always amazing to see the devistation close up. To think that everything you have and everything you know can be gone in 5 minutes is so humbling.

I wish I would have had a chance to write more, but I’ll try to be better. More soon!
